We want to meet twice a month and discuss recent research topics and your own ideas in the area of Development Economics. In addition to the regular reading and discussions, we will invite 2-3 lecturers during the semester in order to get to know some researcher’s ideas on specific topics. Everyone is encouraged to suggest topics and/or people of interest.

We will discuss a paper by Nathan Nunn: “The importance of history for Economic Development”. Reading the paper is recommended, but everyone is invited to join if you are interested in the topic.
